The first two videos are from Memory Night by Teens summer. It is a tradition for the girls of the oldest age group to perform a song together, and then another song as an entire age group. For the girls song we decided to sing A Thousand Miles, by Vanessa Carlton. One of my bunkmates, Sarah Phillips, played the piano for us. For the age group song we agreed to sing Iris, by the Goo Goo Dolls. Memory Night is the last night of camp every summer. You begin the night on a hill facing the lake. There are many videos shown of memories from the summer, the entire staff sings a song, and the senior staff always make up a funny song about every age group. After all the performances the entire camp goes down to 'The Point' for a camp fire. There is also always a wooden carving of the year which is lit on fire and burns away into the lake, symbolizing the end to the summer. The third video posted is from Taconic Games my 15s summer. Each team performs an Alma Mater and a march. The video posted is of my march, a remix to the song Mr. Brightside. My team was white Japan. The fourth video is from my final age group camp fire. It is a video of one of the guy counselors in my age group, Adam Lauria, who was returning camper counselor. Everyone in my age group was crying as he told us how meaningful and important camp is to him and to all of us. It was a huge bonding moment for my age group.
